The Nokia 7510 Supernova was unveiled yesterday on the Nokia USA website, although the handset has yet to be officially announced.
The clamshell-style phone features prominent T-Mobile branding.
Its killer ‘friend surprising’ feature, according to Nokia, is a hidden outer display that shines brightly through the phone’s casing when activated.
It lights up with star-shaped sparkles or - more conventional and slightly more useful - a clock.
Other features include a 2.2-inch QVGA internal display, 2-megapixel camera, GSM/EDGE and Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio, HTML browser, media player, Nokia Maps, and microSDHC expansion slot.
T-Mobile has not confirmed the handset in its line-up, and pricing details are yet to be announced.
