GyPsii has announced that it will now be able to offer next generation application support on a wide number of over 350 Java mobile phones across the globe, including consumer models such as the Nokia 6300, Nokia XpressMusic, Sony Ericsson T700, and the Sony Ericsson 595.

With the launch yesterday of the GeoSentric Oyz, the new interface for Java mobiles will create more potential for use among those who utilise GyPSii with feature rich user experience, full colour, and applications that generally are only found on smartphones that belong in the high end of the market.

Additionally, with GyPSii users can now share content and place location information with other users who also are utilising the GyPSii service on mobiles from Sony Ericsson and Nokia.

Also, while using the service, users can also find points of interests in their location, send friends information about their surroundings, and explore the surroundings and keep their friends up to date on their findings with the simple use of a basic mobile phone.

The new expanded Java UX platform is based on different platforms that are found on the leading smartphones such as the iPhone, Symbian, and Windows Mobile.

Outside of the Nokia and Sony Ericsson models, the new update is also available on LG, Garmin, and Samsung mobiles.

In other news, GyPSii also announced that those who have the WeFiApps launch pad can also download the client system.

The WeFiApps system is designed to allow mobile phone users to find the best WiFI connection in the area where they happen to be located.
