DeviceAnywhere now provides application developers with direct access to Apple’s iPhone 3G, allowing them to test their applications without incurring the cost of physically acquiring the handset.
Developers can build applications from their own desktops, and use DeviceAnywhere’s internet-based service to test downloading their iPhone 3G application through the AppStore, and test how fast their Web sites load on the 3G network.
DeviceAnywhere now provides a direct, real time connection to more than 1500 mobile devices on over 25 different carrier networks worldwide.
The company is currently demonstrating the iPhone on DeviceAnywhere at the CTIA Wireless & Entertainment Conference in San Francisco.
According to Faraz Syed, CEO of DeviceAnywhere, “With the addition of the iPhone 3G to DeviceAnywhere, we are leveling the playing field for application developers around the world”.
