Mobile messaging services provider Clickatell is happy to be nominated in two categories in this year’s upcoming Mobile Search Awards.

“And the nominations are” for best “Best Information Service”. This nomination was as a result of the company’s work with the NHS on a project to enhancing customer service through alternate communications.

The NHS system also involved 123 Consultants, in helping the NHS to offer a creative mobile healthcare information and alert system which sends information, including facts, reminders, and support to the patients’ phones by making use of SMS.

The second nomination for “Best Technology Innovation” recognised the company’s SMS Gateway, on the basis of its ease of use.

It was also added to the short list because of its quick implementation to text-enable applications.
