RIM BlackBerry 8310 Curve available in UK

RIM’s BlackBerry 8310 Curve smartphone is currently available for free on a £35 per month contract from Vodafone.

The 810 is the first RIM Blackberry with 3G internet. It features email, and a built-in GPS receiver which makes travel easy with Vodafone’s sat-nav software.

The device also includes a music and video player, a 3.5mm headphone jack for any standard headphones and an expandable memory microSD slot, which supports up to 2GB of music or video. The phone has a 2-megapixel camera on the back.

RIM has also launched the BlackBerry Curve 8320, but only on T-Mobile in the US, with no news of when it might come to the UK.

The BlackBerry Curve 8320 cameraphone allows calls to be made over 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi networks. The Wi-Fi can also be used for e-mail and Web browsing. It also provides MP3 and video options.
