Technology Turns Mobiles Into Two-Way Radios
PTT is already fairly common in the US, where it is used by business people as a way of communicating with one or multiple colleagues or clients.

With just the press of a button it is possible to have instant connection to one selected contact or a whole group from your address book.

The technology has similarities to the use of two-way radios, with the technological features of mobile phone conversations.

A simple incoming text can give users all the software that they need to set up these features.

Once the software is installed, pressing a single button allows you to speak to anyone or everyone in a chosen group.

To select an individual you simply go to their name and press talk you will then instantly be connected to that one person.

The same applies when you wish to speak to a set of individuals; selecting a group will connect you to everyone within a limited list.

One good advantage of the system is that all individual calls are free, there is just one single monthly fee to be connected to the service with up to 30Mbs data transfers.

PTT works with most existing mobile phones and most networks so there is no need for additional or new equipment.

Push to Talk Ltd is distributing the service throughout the UK.
