According to the Sunday Times they are also one of the most successful UK technology companies.
Each year the Sunday Times issues its Microsoft Tech Track 100 listings. These are rankings of privately owned tech companies.
They work on a number of factors, including the last three year’s sales to calculate who are the fastest growing companies.
This is the second year that ip.access have been found on the list; last year they ranked 52nd out of 100 and this year they have leapt to number one.
Based in Cambridge the company works in the booming picocell and femtocell solutions market.
Picocell and femtocell’s are small indoor “cellphone towers†or access points that allow mobile phones to operate by connecting then via the internet.
They are in the enviable position of being the producer of the most used picocell solution, nanoGSM.
